Winter likely looks a lot different for you depending on where you live in Canada. In some parts of the country, it’s too cold even for penguins. Seriously, the penguins at the Calgary Zoo have to stay inside. So it’s no wonder that some days, when the roads are a mess and the air hurts your face, it feels like a Herculean effort to find the good in the cold season.
Luckily, Mother Nature still gifts us with some pretty spectacular shows, and our readers are so great at capturing that magic in photos. We love to scroll through #cottagelifesub on Instagram to see what you’ve been seeing through the lens on your camera—the crisp blue skies, the frosty branches, a perfectly untouched blanket of snow. Here are some of our favourite shots you’ve tagged us in over the last couple of weeks.
