Photographer paints a grim picture of Georgian Bay shorelines

This spring The Globe and Mail asked their cottage-owning readers in the Georgian Bay area to send in old pictures of the water levels near their property.

To show the contrast between then and now, Photographer Deborah Baic then travelled to those same spots to photograph the current shorelines.

The results, as you can see below in the picture of Tobermory, Ont., are more than a little sobering. Visit The Globe and Mail‘s site for a full gallery of interactive images featuring Waubaushene, Cognashene Island, Cognashene Island, and Tobermory, Ont.
