Is it true that mosquitoes are not attracted to LED lights?
Actually, mossies aren’t very attracted to light of any kind, LED or otherwise. Both light and heat are very mild attractants for the pests. What really gets them excited and coming back for more is the carbon dioxide you exhale. So, unless you stop breathing, only a repellent will keep them away.
By the way, bug-zapper lights don’t work either. Studies show zappers make no difference in the number of mosquito bites inflicted. In fact, mosquitoes usually make up less than one per cent of zapped bugs.
