With nearly 20 km of groomed ski trails, branching from Sauble Falls Provincial Park into large wooded areas and open fields, this region of the Bruce Peninsula is one of the top spots to cross-country ski in Ontario. With the splendor of the Niagara Escarpment as a backdrop, the Sauble Beach cross-country trails pass through everything from deciduous forest to ancient sand dunes. The trail loops come in various lengths and difficulties, offering something for every level of skier. Upon one’s return from the cold, members of the Sauble Beach XC Ski Club offer free hot cider at the chalet.
