Northern cottagers are no strangers to moose, and encounters with these majestic animals can be both awe-inspiring and scary.
But if you think having a run-in with a moose in the woods or on a country two-lane in the early dawn is frightening, imagine careening down a metropolitan highway and seeing a moose dart across the busy lanes.
That’s exactly what happened in Russia, on one of Moscow’s busiest highways, when a frightened young cow moose tried to cross the highway. A commuter captured footage of the moose slipping in front of their car and regaining its footing before galloping alongside startled drivers.
