Canadian comic Martin Short has teamed up with the Royal Canadian Mint to create a collector coin that celebrates life at the cottage.

The fine silver coin, which is meant to depict his cottage in Muskoka, features a scene familiar to many Ontario cottagers: a sailboat gliding across a calm lake, a canopy of pine and maple trees, the Canadian flag flying over the Shield’s rocky landscape, and two Muskoka chairs parked on shore.

“As much as I adore the excitement of cities, it’s rural Canada that has always had my heart,” Short said in a press release. “I am lucky enough to own a cottage on a lake roughly three hours north of Toronto in a staggeringly beautiful part of Canada, which I am thrilled to share on this coin I had the privilege to help design.”

For the design, Short teamed up with Canadian artist Tony Bianco, whose work has been featured on a number of coins by the Royal Canadian Mint.
