Is there any snack more quintessentially summer than ice cream? The delicious frozen dessert is ever-present at barbecues, birthday parties, and on road trips. There’s even a song in Canada’s favourite musical—Anne of Green Gables—dedicated entirely to the treat.
Like Anne, we at Cottage Life love to eat cone after cone, which is why we’re teaming up with the one and only Kawartha Dairy to ensure our readers get their fill of ice cream on the July 3rd weekend.
From Friday July 3 to Sunday July 5, Cottage Life will be buying everyone who goes to the Minden Location of Kawartha Dairy an extra scoop of ice cream. “Baby” cones will be upgraded to the “Small” size (two scoops), and “Small” cones will be upgraded to “Huge” (three scoops). Simple as that.
We’ll also be running a photo booth so you and your friends can get your picture taken in front of the cover of Cottage Life. Moose FM will be giving out prizes on Friday and Sunday, and there will be plenty of opportunities to check out some CL merchandise.
