Time for an epic lakeside brunch featuring this citrusy mimosa. It’s a simple drink made with plenty of zip and fizz to tame the rich flavours of stacks of buttery homemade pancakes, sausages, fresh hash browns, and syrup-soaked French toast.

dry sparkling wine
chilled
3
oz
fresh grapefruit juice
(or orange, if preferred)
4
fresh strawberries
(or any berry that’s in season)
1
sprig of fresh rosemary
(thyme is also good)
Instructions
Pour sparkling wine into a chilled wine glass.
Add the juice on top.
Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and four strawberries on a cocktail pick.
