This two-bedroom travel trailer is fit for a family

The Indigo’s exterior is made of a combination of vertical siding and cedar shingles that have been painted a cool ocean blue. The house is built on a custom 24-foot trailer.

On the right side of the trailer is the kitchen, which has a stainless steel four-burner range, a three-quarter-height fridge, and a single basin sink. The micro couch pulls out to provide an extra sleeping spot while the drop-leaf table is the perfect little breakfast nook. Small decor details like a chrome chandelier, a geometric-patterned area rug, and a white metal clock give the space a homey feel.

Here’s a closer look at the kitchen. Instead of a traditional tiled backsplash, the entire wall is covered in reclaimed barn wood. Along with lower cabinets, there’s floating cabinets above the fridge and range, as well as open shelving for dishes.

In the main floor bedroom, the same reclaimed barn wood from the kitchen covers one of the walls. Hidden by barn doors, the closet features water hook ups for a washer and dryer, as well as space to store extra blankets, linens, and clothing.

When not in use, the queen-size bed can be lifted up to transform into a small work area. As multifunctional space-savers, Murphy beds are perfect for tiny homes.

The bathroom is between the main room and the bedroom. The shower is covered in ceramic tiles and features a small ledge for sitting.

Here’s the staircase that leads from the main room to the loft bedroom. The integrated cubbies offer up a unique space to display plants, books, and other tchotchkes. Although most of the house is white and modern, we love how the wooden stair treads, the railing, and the barn wood walls add a bit of rustic charm. 


Like the main floor bedroom, the loft area has a queen-size bed. Although there’s definitely not a lot of headspace, there are awning windows on both sides and plenty of floor space. This model of the Indigo sells for $74,500 USD plus delivery.
