Beside the dining area is a day bed—ideal for mid-afternoon naps—and a piano for a little after-dinner entertainment. The natural wood surfaces (walls, ceiling, floors, furniture) and the long ceiling beams are reminiscent of the home's barnyard roots.

The second floor is home to another cozy living space. The small nook has window seats, a library—which holds an eclectic collection of books—and a few modern amenities, including TV and wifi.
