A rooftop patio and front porch provide ample outdoor space. The patio’s wood paneling acts as a barrier to the sun, preventing overheating. The porch gets some shade from a metal overhang, which can be folded down over the glass doors when the unit is not being used.
A ladder offers easy (and compact) access to the roof. There’s plenty of room to throw an evening soiree, or to stretch out and sunbath. The two built-in benches double as storage space, so you can keep your party supplies tucked away.
The kitchenette comes with a small refrigerator, sink, two-burner stove, and a recessed microwave. In the bottom right of the above image, you can see the fold-down dining table that also acts as an office desk. There is ample cabinet and closet space, giving guests plenty of room to stay organized.
The wall behind the dining table pulls down to reveal a double murphy bed. The sliding glass doors open onto the front deck to create an indoor/outdoor space and allow natural light inside. There is also outdoor access to the shower, perfect for anyone who wants to have a post-beach rinse before entering the house.
The home can sleep up to four people in three beds. All of the sleeping quarters have a window and bright LED lights. When you’re not using the beds they can be converted into a couch, a storage space, or folded into the wall.

The compact house was inexpensive to build, easy to transport, and requires less maintenance than your average bunkie. It was designed to be a guest retreat but could also work as a permanent home for those looking to downsize.
