This adorable tiny house is big on comfort

The house looks rustic and whimsical thanks to bright blue window panes and fairytale shingles. The curved doorway and curved roof is a Zyl signature design element.

Inside, the home has a living room that doubles as a dining area, a long kitchen, and a sleeping nook. To make the 14-foot-tall space feel lofty, Vardos covered the ceiling in vertical wood panels, which highlight the curved roofline, and added a skylight.

Unlike many small houses, the Music Box’s kitchen has a double sink, plenty of counter space, and a four-burner stove. Open shelving below the counters and above the stove offers easy access to dishes and dry goods. On the other side of the kitchen is the bathroom.

And here’s a look at the metal bathtub. We love how the chevron shower curtain adds a pop of colour to the space.

This sleeping nook is all about saving space. Sconces on the wall are perfect for bedtime reading, but are placed high enough that they can illuminate the entire space. Underneath the bed, there are several closed cupboards for storing clothing, extra linens, and other household items.

We love these two plush armchairs covered in cosy fur throws. They’re comfortable enough that you'll want to hang out at the table for cocktails and cards long after you’ve finished dinner.
