A rusty bus is transformed into a bohemian guest house

While an old rusty school bus might bring back bad childhood memories for some people, for others, it’s a shining opportunity to build something great. The owners of this 1959 Chevrolet Viking bus definitely saw an opportunity—transforming it into a guest house, a camper, and a way to transport large groups.

The bus got a total makeover from top to bottom. Electricity and plumbing were installed, as was comfortable seating for 12. There was also an emphasis on ensuring that the nearly 60-year-old vehicle could handle long drives. However, if we were going to get stranded on a country road in any vehicle, this would be our pick. Add a six-pack of beer and some good food, and it sounds like the kind of adventure this bus is perfect for.
