It’s time we faced an unfortunate truth: Canada might be the great white north, but our cold-weather cousins across the pond in Scandinavia do a much better job of embracing winter than we do.
Sure, we love our ski hills and hot toddies and cozy winter campfires, but for every minute we spend on the slopes, we spend two or three grumbling about shovelling our driveways and cleaning snow off our cars.
