For many cottagers, the lake is the perfect backdrop for a proposal. But while most would opt for getting down on one knee on the dock, Matthew Gencarella took a more extreme approach.
Rather than waiting to get to shore, Gencarella decided to propose while tandam wakeboarding with his girlfriend Brynn Hathaway in Hayden, Idaho.
“This was my way of creating that once-in-a-lifetime, never-been-done, proposal, and having some fun in the process,” he wrote.
