The new Airstream offers more versatility than your average RV

Many people have been turning to camping as a safer alternative to travel during COVID-19, and understandably so. The award-winning Basecamp is Airstream’s top-selling RV model, and the all-new, moderately-priced Basecamp 20 and Basecamp 20X suit a small group.

The Basecamp 20 trailers have a bigger floor plan than previous models, and they have added versatility. By extending the dimensions by four feet and changing the layout, the floor plan is taller and wider than the Basecamp 16. It’s sleek, stylish, and easily towable—it can haul some serious gear.

The new U-shaped dinette at the front of the trailer allows four adults to sit comfortably and enjoy the panoramic views. The advantage of having a separate dinette means that people can gather around and enjoy meals together without having to pack the bed away—the bed at the rear end can be set up all day while enjoying seating space at the front. This dinette can also be converted into an additional bed.

The bigger, electric refrigerator and optional microwave are located in between the dinette and galley, which allows for more storage space.

Additional features include: an exterior shower with hot and cold water, upgraded continuous and tank-less hot water heater, individual fresh water, grey water, and black water tanks with black tank flushing system and Airstream Connected pre-wire.

Airestream Basecamp 20X is a more rugged, trail-friendly RV model that is perfectly capable of going off-road thanks to the larger tires, larger aluminum wheels, stainless steel protection and tinted window guards.
