Belka, an Alaskan Malamute-Siberian husky pup, had a little help in learning to howl, thanks to his young owner in Churchill, Manitoba.
The video, which went viral when it was first shared last March, caught a second wind over the holidays, and more than four million people have now howled along with the adorable 20-day-old puppy.
While some folks have worried that the newborn was likely howling for its mother, the boy’s mom has pointed out that they adopted Belka, which is Russian for “squirrel,” along with the rest of her litter and its mother.
“This pup was not without her mother,” she said. “The mother is our pet, and the litter was brought into the house to socialize.”
