It’s not that surprising that Jesper the cat can handle snow—he lives in Norway, after all—but his love of cross-country skiing definitely makes him a bit unusual.
The ginger kitty recently shot to fame when this video of him and his owner, Aina Stormo, was posted online. It features shots of Jesper pulling Stormo along on her skis, perched on her shoulder as she slides downhill, and curled up in her backpack as she explores a snowy landscape.

Jesper is clearly a huge fan of the outdoors—according to Stormo he also enjoys going swimming and hiking in the summer—and his ability to tow his owner along is pretty impressive.
Maybe he and Stormo will start a new trend of cat skijoring.
