Not only is Canada home to several species of bears, but there’s over 400,000 of them living in the country. Pretty much all Canadians who get out into bear country have at least some basic bear knowledge: don’t contaminate your tent with food smells, don’t run away from a bear, and for the love of god, don’t feed a bear!

But how much do you actually know about the different bear species in Canada? Are you a bear blunderer or an honorary ursinologist? Take this quiz and find out.
