Is there cash in your cabin? Our new show wants to know!

Cash In The Cabin, a new series for Cottage Life, is looking for owners of cottages, farms or homes off the beaten track in Southern Ontario (outside of the GTA), who would love to clear out some of their clutter for top dollar.

If you’ve got a vintage collection to share, a barn full of rare junk to be picked through, or a home decorated with interesting items passed down through through generations, we want to hear from you.

Who knows? Your grandmother’s collection of glass lanterns collecting dust in the loft, or your great uncle’s canoe behind the bunky, or the hoards of old gas station signs stacked in the shed could be worth more than you think!

If your collection fills the bill, let us know by sending a description to nskinner@ourhouse-media.com.

Have what it takes to be a host? We want to hear from you too!

Are you a picker, a collector or an antique appraiser who’s ready to share your knowledge and show how you can find hidden gems stashed among the clutter in old barns, lofts and basements?

Cash in the Cabin is also looking for two enthusiastic hosts. In every episode, this duo will take to the back roads of cottage country and go off the beaten track in rural Southern Ontario, rummaging through family collections and clutter to find vintage items for resale.

If you have an outgoing personality and you’re ready for the adventure of a lifetime, let us know about it.

To apply, submit your name, contact info, a recent photo, and description of your picking experience to: nskinner@ourhouse-media.com.
