Hang out in your very own hot tub hammock

Hydro Hammock in the winter

The Oregon-based creators of the Hydro Hammock are about to revolutionize relaxation with their innovative hot tub-hammock hybrid.

The flexible tub is portable, can be set up partially or fully suspended, and adjusts to fit your environment. Made of a sealed synthetic high-tensile-strength fabric, the tub can support the weight of 50 gallons of water and two adults—although you only need 20 gallons to have a soothing soak. It also comes in two sizes, so you can enjoy it solo or double-up for a romantic bubble bath.

The company is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to help support production. If you’re willing to contribute to the $50,000 fundraising goal you’ll be able to submerge yourself in your very own suspended bath before anyone else—although you’ll have to shell out between $260-$390 to get a prototype.

While the base fee covers the fabric part of the apparatus, you’ll have to spend an additional $920 on the portable heater, which adheres to standard checked baggage requirement.

As with all Kickstarter campaigns there isn’t any guarantee that you’ll get a return on investment, but just imagine how chill you would feel if you had your very own hot spring that went wherever you did. You can check out Hydro Hammock’s promo video here.
