There’s nothing quite like feeling the sun on your face as you jump behind the wheel, ready to see where the day takes you on your latest road trip. But what if you have only one day to spare? Not to worry. There are plenty of great one-day drives to take throughout Canada. Here are just eight ideas to get you started.

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Head out on the Niagara Parkway to experience Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake in all their glory. From the breathtaking falls and the touristy downtown area to the calmer vineyards and historic Fort George, there’s plenty to see and do as you wind down the scenic road. Be sure to stop at one of the many award-winning wineries for delicious food, or else pack a picnic and eat lunch waterside.
