Cross-country ski at Wye Marsh

While Wye Marsh is well recognized as an Important Bird Area, as it’s home to an amazing diversity of bird species, the area is able to provide year-round enjoyment with its cross-country ski trails. Located in Midland, Ontario, Wye Marsh is home to 25 km of groomed and track-set cross-country ski trails. Because the trails are so well kept-up, they are perfect for all skiers, no matter what skill level. On top of this destination’s spectacular biodiversity, Wye Marsh also offers special “Full Moon Night Skis.” Here, you can ski from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. then warm up by the fire with a complimentary cup of hot chocolate.

Amenities: Ski rentals, shelter and washrooms are available where the trails begin.
