Another long weekend means it’s time for more playlists! Our last playlist was a nod to great Canadian tunes, so when it came time to decide what musical gems we would compile for this long weekend list, it stirred another hotly contested debate. It came down to two potential lists: cottage party music, and—in celebration of this year’s Olympics—some tunes that would help inspire a little healthy competition.
There was no clear winner in the debate, so we’ve gone with both! Here are the perfect tunes to play summer games to, along with some others to celebrate with afterward.
