Get stocked for your first weekend back at the cottage with this handy grocery list

Get these staples at the start of the season, and they’ll keep all summer. Tape your list to the pantry door, and cross an item off when you run out so you know to replace it. Jars and resealable clear plastic bins are my go-to containers for seeing what’s inside, and for keeping the critters out.

The list:

  • Olive oil
  • Cooking oil
  • White vinegar
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Rice Pasta
  • Pasta sauce
  • Pesto
  • Canned beans
  • Canned tomatoes
  • Canned tuna
  • Jarred olives
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Bouillon cubes
  • Oatmeal
  • Pancake mix (your own or a box)
  • All-purpose flour
  • Sugar (brown, white)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Spices (e.g. curry and chili powder)
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Maple syrup
  • Honey
  • Tamari or soy sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Hot sauce

Do you have anything you’d add to the list?
