These student-made megaphones amplify the sounds of nature

A group of interior architecture students in Estonia have built giant wooden megaphones that amplify the natural sounds of the forest. The installation was constructed deep in the Estonian woods, and the speakers have been placed at specific angles to better capture sound.

The simple, beautiful design and natural materials help the structures melt into the landscape, and their conical design makes them ideal shelters for hikers and campers in the area.

We need to commission some of these for our own national parks!
