We at Cottage Life like to expound on the glories of nature—frequently. However, for all its splendour, being out in the wilderness isn’t all fun and games. There is real danger out there—not just from wild animals, but also, sometimes from plants.

One way to make sure your time at the cottage isn’t marred by disaster is to know which plants are safe and which aren’t. There are a surprising number of poisonous plants growing in Canada, and sometimes a plant’s appearance (or its name) can be misleading. Which is why we’ve created this quiz—to test your knowledge of some of the plants you might come across in your bushwhacking adventures.
