Massive New Brunswick ice floe moves bridge

It’s been a long winter, which means the generous helping of snow and ice that built up this season is melting, causing its fair share of grief across the country.

Case in point, this bridge in New Brunswick, which is actually jarred out of place by the relentless pressure of thousands of pounds of ice.

Much like mudslides, swiftly moving ice floes can build up a tremendous amount of power, and prove devastating when they come up against seemingly immovable objects.

While the bridge in this video does not collapse in a spectacular fashion, the cost of repairing it will undoubtedly be steep.
