Peeling potatoes is definitely not a glamorous part of food preparation. And if you’re cooking for a lot of people, a simple potato salad can get pretty labour-intensive pretty quickly.
Enter Leo Morten Lund, who figured out a way to peel a whole bag in 30 seconds.
The technique requires a few tools, including a bucket, a power hose, a drill, and a (new, of course) toilet brush.
Working together, the flow of water and the stiff brush bristles peel away the potato skin in less than a minute.
While the toilet brush might discourage you from using this technique at every family barbecue, if no one’s looking, you might want to pick peeling potatoes the next time your family is divvying up prep chores.
