Located near Edmonton, Alberta, this 7,000-square-foot barn home is situated on 87 acres, through which the Sturgeon River flows.

This actually isn’t a home—it’s part of a 5-star luxury resort located in British Columbia’s Cariboo Mountains. Visitors to Siwash Lake Ranch can stay in the Cariboo Suite Barn, where saddles and tack are stored on the lower level.


The Day Barn, which originally housed a dairy, was built around 1920 on the Swan River in Montana. After five years of renovations, the current owners transformed the barn into a unique living space; stalls became bedrooms and the hayloft became a lounge space.
