This 18th-century farmhouse has been in the Eisenring family for seven generations. For the past 15 years, it’s been slowly restored by two brothers, their families, and their mother. Beautiful original details have been preserved as the home has been modernized, and now it’s a welcoming weekend retreat for the Eisenrings and their guests.

The farm is in Schwyz, just a 45-minute drive south of Zurich, and is surrounded by rolling green hills and grazing sheep. In the distance, you can spot snowy mountain peaks—does it get more Swiss than that?
