Plan a winter picnic

Get out the baskets and thermoses—just because it’s cold out doesn’t mean picnics are off the table. Pack up these tasty recipes and hit the trails with some foods that will warm you up and give you energy for the hike home.

Here’s a tip: fill thermoses with boiling water for two minutes, then empty the water and fill with your soups or hot beverages. This keeps the contest warmer for longer so your soups and hot cocoa will be toasty warm when you’re ready for a snack.
