Gingerbread Cottagers
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened (250 ml)
- 1 1/3 cups packed brown sugar (325 ml)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses (125 ml)
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (1.125 L)
- 2 1/2 tsp ground ginger (12 ml)
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon (10 ml)
- 1 tsp ground cloves (5 ml)
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda (7 ml)
- 1 tsp salt (5 ml)
- For decoration: tubes of storebought coloured decorating icing, candies, coloured sugar, and sprinkles
