Episode DescriptionSeason 1

1) Belisle - Parry Sound, ON

For many of us, music and the cottage are deeply intertwined, but for musicians, that connection runs even deeper. Erin takes us to a family cottage in Point au Baril near Parry Sound that serves as both a place to relax and also a source of creative inspiration. We also dance the night away at the historic Ojibway Club, Chefy cooks up his famous Cottage Seafood boil and Wayne builds a treasure chest.

2) Ross - Gananoque, ON

Cottage Life can mean different things to different people. For some it’s about exploring the area, for others it’s about sharing what they have with family & friends. Erin heads to Gananoque in the Thousand Islands, roughly 3 hours east of Toronto to meet up with cottagers Don & Marnie Ross. At the cottage workshop Wayne builds a waterfront solution to keep boats from being damaged by docks and Chefy makes use of the leftover Thanksgiving Turkey by making some delectable leftover turkey crustini appetizers.

3) Hogarth - Haliburton, ON

Erin heads to Haliburton to meet up with some very active friends that relocated from their original family cottage roots in Muskoka to another area in cottage country near Haliburton. At the cottage workshop Wayne recycles some old wakeboards and transforms them into a cool new bench and Chefy prepares a yummy fresh watermelon, feta and mint salad for his cottage guests.

4) Genovese - Muskoka, ON

Erin heads out on Lake Rosseau in the beautiful Muskoka Lakes to meet up with a friend who spends 6 months of the year at his cottage. This cottager and his place are like no other! At the cottage workshop Wayne solves his waterfront mess by building a dockside storage box and Chefy cooks up some Salmon Burgers complete with spicy cucumber ribbons and wasabi mayonnaise. While in Muskoka our Roadside Attraction takes us to Windsor Park in Bala to catch the infamous Summer Water Sports water ski show.

5) Townshend - Lake Mazinaw, ON

Erin heads to the beautiful Land-o-Lakes region to Mazinaw Lake. At the cottage workshop Wayne solves his paddle storage problems by building a handy paddle rack and Chefy makes some yummy BBQ satay appetizers for the cottage dock party. While in the Land-o-Lakes region our Roadside Attraction is the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough home to over 500 canoes from around the world dating back hundreds of years, each with their own unique history.

6) Craig - Gravenhurst, ON

Erin heads to Gravenhurst to visit some friends on Kahshe Lake at their water access cottage. At the cottage workshop Wayne builds his own version of Bola aka Ladder Toss then practices his skills of the game. Chefy and his crew were up early fishing and caught the big one so he cooks up a good old fashioned Campfire Fish Fry complete with home made tartar sauce. While in Gravenhurst, our Roadside Attraction is the Real Muskoka Steamship Pirate Cruise. Each week the crew transforms the classic old Wenonah II into a pirate ship to set sail on a 2-hour pirate cruise that has cottagers participating in the battles.
