Planted in Your Seat

Spotted these lovely planters outside a shop in Port Stanley, Ont.

To make your own, cut a hole in the chair’s seat with a jig saw and attach chicken-wire to create a basket. Alternatively, trace a terracotta pot so the lip sits on top of the seat to hold the pot in place. Like any hanging basket, it will dry out quickly, so plant accordingly.
