The Ontario Forestry Association (OFA) is a non-profit, registered charity. We are dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of all aspects of Ontario’s forests, and to develop commitment to stewardship of forest ecosystems. Since 1949, the OFA has been involved in public education around forestry and environmental issues. To this day, we continue to increase public education and knowledge of forestry and environmental issues.
The OFA has worked for over 60 years to promote the value of forests in Ontario. The OFA reaches landowners, educators, students and the general public of Ontario. It achieves its mission through the promotion of forest education including classroom resources for students from grades 1 through 12, as well as a range of programs to support the good stewardship of private land forests.
