Mission with Grandpa
I love hearing about fun traditions that arise at the cottage – and that, come to think of it, could only exist at the cottage.
I met a cottager on Lake Muskoka last week who told me about something her husband does with the grandkids when they’re all up at the lake. When they wake up in the morning, they have to wait until the marina in the next bay over opens, but then they all pile in the boat and head over—in their pajamas! Grandpa picks up the newspaper, and the kids get to each choose a treat.
Sounds like a fantastic and hilarious way to start the day!
