Nature-inspired Christmas wreaths
Cottagers, draw your glue guns!
I’ve been patiently collecting holiday wreath ideas since about the beginning of November, preparing for an inspiring wreath round-up post for early December. And here is that post! This is the ideal weekend for Christmas crafts. My halls are only partially decked at this point, but I’m hoping that come Monday the house will look and smell like proper December. I’ll even be revealing my own wreath creation on Monday, so stay tuned for that.
The following wreath ideas were selected with a cottage focus in mind, of course. (To find DIY instructions for each, simply click on the links below the images, or the images themselves.) If you are lucky enough to be able to spend your holidays at the lake, you’ll find much of what you need to complete these projects just outside your door, with maybe a quick trip to the craft store thrown in to round out your supplies. Even better, being at the cottage is in itself great inspiration for Christmas crafting since it’s a time of year when nature-inspired decor is perfectly suitable. Even a shoebox full of pinecones will help get you in the Christmas spirit! Enjoy! And, as always, please do let me know if you have your own project to show off.

Thanks for the feedback Rita. Shoot me an e-mail directly if you have any questions. Also, if you click on the links, you'll find instructions for most on the other end. Also, keep your eye out on the blog later today...I'll be posting a short how-to on making a wreath out of old sweaters. I made it myself last weekend.

These wreaths are gorgeous!! It would be great if instructions were provided on how to make them at home.
