How to personalize a serving tray
Too many photos and not enough space? Display them on a serving tray
Materials
- One larger frame
- Clear silicon glue
- Base paint
- Accent paint
- Two drawer pulls
- Power drill
- Glue
- A selection of photos and memorabilia
Step #1: Start by removing all glass and backing from the frame.
Step #2: Measure where you’ll place your drawer pulls. The drawer pulls will act as handles to carry your tray.
Step #3: Drill holes for the drawer pulls and set the drawer pulls aside.
Step #4: Choose a base colour for your tray and coat the entire frame.
Step #5: Paint the backing an accent colour. Now you are ready for the fun part: planning and arranging your photos.
Step #6: Apply glue to the back of your photos and adhere to the freshly painted backing.
Step #7: Once all your photos are attached apply silicon to inside of the frame. Place the backing into the frame so the pictures face up.
Step #8: Run more silicon around the edge of the frame and place your accents on the tray. Press the glass gently on top and allow to dry.
And voila! You have a serving tray personalized for you and your cottage that guests will love.
