Trend: True wood
I’ve been noticing a lot of furniture pieces and accessories made from driftwood, branches and logs lately. The whole faux bois trend turning toward a “true wood” trend, if you will. Of course, there’s a standing tradition of chairs, chandeliers and occasional tables made from branches and logs in cottage country, but this latest development means wider variety of looks, some more refined than rough-hewn stumps.
Here’s a selection of pieces from Angus & Company in Toronto, one of the many places where you’ll find this look.
