Watermelon bowls

I’ve been MIA for much of this week. No excuses really, other than the game of catch up I was playing after the big Cottage Life Show last weekend. The show was a huge success, and I managed to find a lot of goodies to share with you over the next few weeks, so stay tuned for that. I’m also preparing to post some images of a very special cottage near the Soo. I think you’ll love the place as much as I do. Usually I’d be heading to the cottage this weekend to open up, but a commitment in the city has me delayed until next weekend. No worries, it’s a good way to get out of all the dirty work! I can’t believe that it’s spring and that the temperatures here in Toronto will be spiking into the 20s this weekend. Summer really is right around the corner.

So I’ll leave you something that evokes one of my most favourite summer foods, watermelon. These handmade porcelain bowls by Australian artist Samantha Robinson are exquisite and make for great eye candy. Is it too late to ask the Easter Bunny for one this year?
